The Mainstream Media Brainwash

Let me start off by saying in no means am I a writer or even really trying to be one. Some of us have talents for certain things and well others just don't. Being dyslexic which I am makes writing one of the most stressful things I can attempt to do. I literally break out in a sweat each time I try. The reason why I am attempting to write anyway is one of two reasons. One is just to do it anyway not letting this disability stop me from sharing with others what I think and feel about topics that interest me and ones I feel people must know. Second is there are area’s I am informed on that others might not be aware of which need to be brought out into the open. People need to know.

So with that said I ask those who wish to leave comments to please do so but keep them relevant to the topic of my hub and not about the skill level of my writing. This hub is for nothing more than to educate those who may be unaware of the brainwashing the Mainstream Media has over the masses that turn into their news casts each day. As you will see I am going to supply you with several examples supporting my claim. It will then be left up to you to determine what you will believe. I'm going to use a well-known public figure as my example of how severely tragic this manipulation is.

I highly encourage you to take a few minutes to educate yourself on the topic before you read any further so you will understand the examples I have below.

Ron Paul is a congressman of Texas who is running in the 2012 GOP race. Currently he is 1 of 4 Republicans still left in the race to be the President of the United States of America. If you do not know who this person is then take some time to search his name in any search engine of your choice but make sure not to leave out YouTube. The 4 candidates still left in this race are Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Willard Romney. Willard goes by his middle name of Mitt. The media couldn't have done a more perfect job in giving me impeccable examples needed to support my claim of media bias and brainwashing. Using Ron Paul as my example please take a look at how the mainstream media treats Ron Paul.

I can go on and on showing you hundreds of examples of how the Mainstream Media brainwashes the public into trying to get them to think a certain way. As far as I have gathered they really do not have a preference on which GOP candidate it should be as long as it isn't Ron Paul. It really makes one start to wonder what it is they are so afraid of.

I won't spend the time here explaining to you everything Ron Paul stands for and how the media has twisted it around making it sound like something that’s it is not. With just using Ron Paul as my example it is clearly easy to see that they tell you want they want you to believe instead of what the truth really is. Let me give you another example of what I mean by that.

Willard Romney is in the lead right now as far as delegates go. So I will use him as the example here. It has been proven over time that majority of Mitt Romney's supporters are not so much Romney supporters as they are Republicans who will vote for anyone that they think will win the GOP and best person to beat President Obama. Ron Paul supporters on the other hand, as far as I know it to be will not vote anyone but Ron Paul. They are not fickle in the way of just voting for who they think the winner will be. They are solid on voting for the issues that matter most to them. That is why you will never meet an ex Ron Paul supporter and why you hear so much that for Ron Paul supporters there is no second choice. What I mean by second choice is they will vote for him regardless of his position in the race. If he is not an option for them to vote for they will write his name on that ballet anyway. If you’re not following what I am saying then let me explain more.

The media says Ron Paul has no chance. What I am telling you is he is the only chance. Without Ron Paul's votes the GOP doesn't stand a chance at winning and it will go to Obama. They will not vote for anyone else. On the other hand the majority of Romney voters just want to vote for the one that will win. If Ron Paul does make the GOP then Ron Paul gets all his votes and Romney's also. Therefore beating Obama. So you see how the media has it all twisted. They underestimate the loyalty to the idea of liberty and freedom Ron Paul brings to the table. They think by telling people Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance his supporters will give up and vote for whoever the front runner happens to be. They just totally messed up this year’s election by doing that. If they just gave the facts maybe more of Romney's supporters would of moved over to Ron Paul giving him the better chance at winning the GOP but they scared the none passionate people into a vote that has no chance to beat Obama. I'm not being biased by saying that because it is a straight fact. I will show you a news clip that supports the loyalty of Ron Paul supporters.

It is clear after seeing that video by what one Mitt Romney supporter openly says that they choose Romney because they want to vote for the one that they think will win verse who will ultimately do what is best for our country. Maybe perhaps that is why this country is in such the mess that it is in. Who says Romney is going to win? According to what I have just proved to you Romney doesn’t have a chance but the media wants you to believe that he does. So people are brainwashed into thinking something that just isn’t true at all.

The reason why Ron Paul has so many young people is because they get their information from many different sources. They are not brainwashed by the Mainstream Media. It is a sad day when people let others tell them what to think and believe. I feel people most anyway are lazy and would rather be told what to think and believe then to take the time to research facts for themselves. Young people tend to have more energy and time to be able to research the facts then older adults do? Maybe that is the reason. Maybe it’s the youth rebellion coming out that needs to question more making them want to double check what they are told. I don’t know. It has been years since I have been young. Also I have never been someone that just takes one person’s word for anything. I need solid proof and proof that comes from more than just one reliable source.

I hope this has opened the eyes of people showing them that our Mainstream Media lies to you and twists things around manipulating you to think a certain way. The reason why they do this is for you to determine but to deliberately deceive another person shows you have no values or integrity. If you know that the chances of you hearing the truth is very slim why would you invite that person into your home? I cannot tell you who to trust and who not to trust as far as where you get your information from. I recommend news sources that are not from our country. Maybe some of you who read this could please leave some links to more reliable news outlets then the ones in our Mainstream Media.

Here is another example of how the media twists what Ron Paul says. They say Ron Paul’s foreign policy of peace is dangers but the one we currently have in which all the other candidates running in the GOP supports happens to be pushing us more and more into WW3. How much more dangerous can we get then World War III?
